The EdMagZ Hockey Module (SP5) is an interactive, magnet-based coaching and teaching tool designed to help coaches, educators, and players visually understand hockey systems, positioning, and game situations. The set uses lightweight plastic player pieces with magnetic backings, allowing them to move easily on a whiteboard while remaining securely in place during instruction.
This module enables users to draw a scaled hockey rink using included wet-erase markers and measurement guides. Magnetic player pieces can be repositioned in real time to demonstrate line combinations, offensive and defensive systems, face-off alignments, forechecking structures, neutral-zone play, and transitions. A magnetic puck is used to illustrate puck movement, possession, and decision-making during drills and play diagrams.
Coaches can write and erase player names, numbers, positions, or assignments directly on the magnetic pieces, making it easy to adjust lines, roles, and tactical concepts during instruction. Face-off circle and crease stencils allow for accurate rink setup and help reinforce positional awareness around key areas of play.
